We have completed construction and are now able to offer in person classes from our studio
Our studio is located 18 miles from Lake Tahoe in Gardnerville, Nevada.
With a little help from friends, we built this space for the creation and restoration of books , paper and textile marbling, editorial projects and artistic experimentation.
It is also a place to hold small classes for students with whom I wish to share my 30 years experience in playing with paper, paints, type, board and glue.
Class Philosophy and Prices
After a decade of teaching at the San Francisco Center for the Book and other venues I have learned that the more I teach, the more I learn,. If you learn, play and are happy, I’m happy too.
Solo Class
$350 per day + materials fee
Bring a Friend
$200 per person per day + materials fee
Bring 2 Friends
$160 per person per day + materials fee
4 Person class
$125 per person per day+ materials fee
Types of Classes offered:
Introduction to Paper Marbling
Up to 4 students welcome. Materials fee $25.
Advanced Paper Marbling: Metallics & Overmarbling on paper and textiles
2 day course. Up to 4 students welcome. $70 materials fee
Marbling Silk Scarves
2 day course. Up to 5 students welcome. Execution of 5 scarves per person. $75 material fee
Textile Marbling
Up tp 4 students welcome. $30 Material fee
All materials provided. Wear an apron and comfortable shoes.
